Random things

About a month ago I left a lighter on my neighbors table out back and when I came back for it it was gone. It was an accident that I left it there in the first place and I guess I supposed that if I leave things on other people's tables as it should be that it's gone when I come back for it.

This got me to thinking; What other random things will my neighbor Mary like to have? So I started the "Mary's Table" Experiment. I now leave random goodies on her table to see what she might take. A few weeks back it was a book. That didn't leave for a few days but finally I went out one day and it was gone. A few days later I left some change. Yesterday it was a quarter. That too is still there. So I upped the anty: A guitar pick, a piece of sugar free candy, granola bar, quarter from yesterday and a mini banana are all up for grabs. Here is the picture:
I can't wait to see what she will take next.

  2. I think the banana and the guitar pick will be gone tomorrow. The banana is adorable. I want to draw eyes on it.

  3. Sugar free candy? If I was Mary I'd leave a note asking for another lighter and take the granola bar only -- well, maybe the quarter too since I need 'em for laundry :)

  4. lol Kim. I keep thinking I'm going to get that "Note" someday; "listen crazy neighbor, if you're going to leave things can you leave some cash or... " Ha Ha. She texted me shortly after I posted this to let me know that I was crazy. I didn't dispute it. ;)
